“We are living through a time that's unprecedented and uncharted at the moment, and this country's lockdown has undoubtedly affected us all in many ways, and as we attempt to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 Virus, we are all faced with a great deal of uncertainty.
Some of us are privileged and grateful to be able to face these trying times in the comfort of our homes, but there are some whose incomes have been greatly affected during this time.
Leaf Techologies has joined the Port Shepstone Country Club and put a challenge out there encouraging all those who associated with the Port Shepstone Country Club to help raise funds to enable PSCC to put food parcels together for their Staff – they have caddies, bar staff, waiters, greens and grass cutting staff and security staff members who have had their incomes affected by this lockdown.
As the Port Shepstone Country Club is a client of The Naartjie Tree I have collaborated with this Club and Leaf Technologies in assisting with this food parcel drive, and I strongly urge you to give a thought to those PSCC staff members who have remained loyal and committed to the Club and if you are a Member, Visitor or Friend to the Port Shepstone Country Club to please consider making a contribution to this fund where your act of kindness and support will go a long way.
“Leaf Technologies has started off this fundraiser with a deposit of R3000. The image above reveals the exact amount raised to date. Until the Port Shepstone Country Club Golf course is open again this fundraiser will remain open and in place. More food parcels will be organised as needed. I would like to thank each and every sponsor involved here for their most generous donations towards this food parcel drive” - Sandy Danckwerts.
